God Takes You through a Process

God takes the time to prepare you for a special task, for a future opportunity, for the maturity you need to use the gift He has given to you. Preparation, along with obedience and service, is part of God’s process to build you into the kind of vessel He wants to use in His service. Because we don’t always understand God’s ways, at times we may think we are ready for anything. We’ve been reading the Word. We’ve been in prayer. We’ve been listening to good teaching. What else do we have to do? We feel prepared, ready to take on the world. But the ways of God are different from ours; they are higher. God knows better than we do. We have to believe that God knows what He is doing while we go through the preparation process.

God has placed greatness in everybody, but sometimes we shortchange ourselves because we make decisions to move too soon. I remember serving in the Fine Arts ministry in my church, and there were a few of us that loved to serve in this ministry. We ministered improvisational plays – this is the type of play where you don’t have a script to work from – and I wasn’t used to doing that. We’d get together, and all of rehearsal, for two or three rehearsals, we’d just pray in the Holy Ghost. And then we’d stop and the leader would say, “What did you see?” People would see different things: “This is what I got,” “I saw this,” “I can feel this,” and “I heard the Lord say this.” We wrote everything down and our notes turned into plays. Then we would minister the plays and it would change the lives of so many people. After a while I’d begin to fuss. I would say things like, “When are we going to get real scripts? We’re acting, right?” I needed some clarity and sometimes I didn’t get a word or hear anything. But then a word would come forth in the rehearsal. What I didn’t realize was that what I was doing back then was preparing me for what I’m doing today. Today, when I need to minister, pray for someone or just live, I realize what I learned back then is exactly what I need today. I spend time just praying for hours in the Holy Ghost and God gives me a whole message or impresses on me what to say or what to do in everyday life. I didn’t have a clue, but way back then, God was preparing me for this moment now and whatever was going to happen in my future.

Excerpts from the book, Servanthood to Purpose; Your gift will make room for you!

It is What you Say it is!

According to Genesis 1:26 man has been made in the image and likeness of the creator (God Himself). In that same chapter of Genesis the bible informs us that the earth was dark and void (undistinguishable ruin). God obviously didn’t care for what He saw and changed the ruin into development and progress by speaking (Let there be…)

You may see void/ruin in an area of your life; try speaking life in faith and it will live because you (being been made in God’s image and likeness) called it to restore and develop. Depending on your situation, it may take your physical involvement, but it all begins with “your” words.

It is what “you” say it is; you are in control of your restoration and development.

I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live (Deuteronomy 30:19 AMP)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life] (Proverbs 18:21 AMP)

The Blessing in you is your Brand

We all have something we are graced/blessed to do. Most likely it is the thing that we’ve ignored or just do casually for personal enjoyment. It is possible that you have overcome some extremely difficult challenges, and now you can effectively serve someone else with your process of change.

Let’s define a few words for the sake of this post.
The meaning of the word blessed is to cause to prosper, to make happy, to bestow blessings onto; favored of God.
You have all of this in Christ (the anointed one with the anointing), which is in you. The ability to prosper is in you; the capability to be happy and release joy is in you; the unexplainable favor of God is in you. As much as we would like to believe the anointing or blessings fall from heaven; they are released from within you. (To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory; Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭27‬ KJV).
The divine power of God is present with you right now.

In business a brand is a name, term, design or other feature that distinguishes one seller’s product from those of others.
Everyone has been gifted with a unique talent, wisdom, or service that no one else can provide in the manner you can. Those ideas that seem outrageous, might be a God idea (empowerment) that can transform your life and the life of another.

Your destiny is waiting to explode, you need to ignite the fuse by lighting the match of creativity. We need what you have and can’t wait to experience the gift, talent, wisdom, or service that was assigned to you from the foundations of the earth.

This world originated from the spiritual, and according to Ephesians, the creative empowerment to change your life and the lives of others is in you.

You are the answer to someone’s challenge, someone’s need to smile or their need of encouragement; work towards developing and enhancing your brand so the world can experience the God in you.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: (‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭3-4‬ KJV
